Film Studio’s PVC-free polyester film with water-based adhesive is the environmentally friendly alternative to vinyl films made of PVC, a Red List chemical which often contains other Red List ingredients such as cadmium, lead, and phthalates. The lifecycle of PVC—production, use, and disposal—results in the release of dioxins, some of the most potent toxins known to humans. PVC-free products are safer for the environment and, consequently, easier to eliminate at the end of use.
